Bellingham's history dates from it's 11th century church to the remains of it's 19th century industrial heritage. There's lots to explore including St Cuthbert's Well and the Blue Hills above the village.
The village is an ideal base for walking, fishing (tickets available) cycling, sightseeing, golfing and bird watching or maybe just chilling out. To help you decide exactly what to do pop into the local Tourist Information/Heritage Centre which is based in the old railway station. |
